Shauna Parks
Board Director
Shauna, a proud native of Washington, D.C., raised in the Northeast section of North Michigan Park by her maternal grandparents. At just 15 years old, she became a teen mother and found herself navigating the challenges of street life. Though the path was far from easy, Shauna’s faith sustained her. She discovered that she no longer had to suffer in silence .. she had a Heavenly Father who loved her unconditionally and reminded her that she was more than enough. Throughout her journey, Shauna immersed herself in ministry, participating in Dance Ministry, Youth Ministry, Teen Sunday School - Bible Study, Women’s Ministry, Drama Ministry, and the Praise Team. Her passion for serving led her to become the Leader of Christ Centered Young People at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, where she mentored and nurtured youth in their walk with Christ. Today, Shauna is a devoted wife, the mother of six beautiful children, and the proud grandmother of four handsome grandsons. Her life is a living testimony as she is a walking miracle who doesn’t look like what she’s been through. She is healed, delivered, and unapologetically herself. Shauna embraces her identity with love and gratitude, knowing that while she may not be perfect, she is here with purpose ready to GIVE BACK, uplift others, and reflect the love of God in all she does.

Tameisha "Tami" Hutton
Vice Chair/Media Specialist
Tami has faced many hardships throughout her life challenges that she has not only overcome but continues to rise above each day. As a trained dancer in her teenage years, movement became her outlet, a way to express what words could not. But it wasn’t until recently that dancing for GOD transformed her perspective. Now, it fuels her spirit and serves as a powerful reminder that He still reigns on the throne. When words fall short, Tami speaks through her feet. “To watch me dance is to hear my heart speak,” she says, a reflection of the deep spiritual connection she feels when she moves in worship. As a devoted member of the S.O.S. Team, Tami hopes to use her God-given gifts to uplift, inspire, and shine as a beacon of light for women and young girls, encouraging them to find strength, purpose, and joy through faith and expression.
