S.O.S. by way of Global Vision Productions, is a nonprofit organization created to support survivors impacted by domestic violence and trauma who are facing complex life challenges such as homelessness, reentry after incarceration, employment instability, family reunification, and rebuilding healthy relationships. We are committed to reducing recidivism by addressing both the physical and psychological barriers survivors face including the invisible mental imprisonment caused by abuse.

Through mentorship, advocacy, and trauma-informed support, we meet survivors where they are and walk alongside them as they restore self-worth, stability, and purpose. Grounded in lived experience and led with compassion, SistaH of SurvivaL exists to uplift survivors locally and globally treating every individual with dignity, respect, and care.

A survivor is someone who refuses to be defined by their circumstances and Stephanie Barnes is the embodiment of transformation beyond adversity.

Having overcome domestic violence, substance abuse, and depression, Stephanie’s journey is not just one of survival, but of intentional leadership, resilience, and purpose. With over 30 years of sobriety and a life rebuilt through faith, discipline, and emotional mastery, she stands as living proof that healing is possible and leadership can rise from the ashes of pain.

Today, Stephanie equips audiences with the mindset, courage, and strategy to move from limitation to leadership turning trauma into testimony and fear into fearless action.
