In 1995, Stephanie walked out of The Central Detention Facility (CDF/DC Jail) with a commitment to never return. Reentering society proved to be one of her greatest challenges, as rebuilding a stable and “normal” life came with obstacles few openly discuss. She worked various jobs while navigating the realities of reentry, quickly recognizing the limited support and platforms available for women seeking a genuine second chance.

Rather than allow her past to define her future, Stephanie chose to redefine it. She surrendered to her calling to serve, mentor, and motivate others, transforming her lived experience into a mission-driven movement that now creates space, opportunity, and hope for women rebuilding their lives.
